What we want to see in Google Pixel 5?

Now we are in 2020. Next month Samsung is going to launch to it's flagship Galaxy S20 series and we're seeing so many leaks about the upcoming Galaxy S20 variants.

For the iPhones we are seeing the no notch as well as small sized notch leaks which claimed to be iPhone 12 and the designs of iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9 which is rumored to be launch in the March 2020 are also being surfaced. Then the Huawei's P series phone P40 designs are also leaked. Few days ago we have seen the report claimed that the upcoming Pixel 4a powered by a Samsung's Exynos instead of Qualcomm's Snapdragon.

But the brand which is famous for the leaks and topped the leaking list for the past 2 years are none other than the Google's Pixel Phones. Year by year Google has made this premium segment unique by its unbeatable Camera performance. Though other OEMs started to bring Dual, Triple cameras Google just beaten them by it's single camera. The reason behind the appreciation is Night Sight. It's extra ordinary. Apple introduced that after 1 year in its iPhone 11 series.

Pixel series are well known for its camera. Even the lower end variant of Pixel 3a also doing the same in the camera department. So the hype for Pixel 4 was too high. But Pixel 4 doesn't fulfill that hype though it introduces Astro Photography and Soli sensor which allows a user to communicate the phone with gestures.

Tech geeks have criticized Google for not adding wide-angle lens and lesser battery capacity.



Pixel 5
So this year what we want to see in Google Pixel 5 and XL?

  • Wide-angle lens with support for Night Mode on Photo and Video
  • A bigger battery at least with 4000mAh
  • Add 4k, 60 fps
  • Air-Drop like feature at least as proprietary
  • Front camera with wide angle support
  • Simultaneous video recording of both rear and front camera at the same time
  • Expandable storage
