Google Messages is Google's own SMS app. We all knew that how hard Google is trying to make an unified messaging app which is similar to iMessage. Right from Google Chat, Hangout, Google Allo, etc., the search giant is continuing its development to create a simple single app which it wanted to be the first choice for the texting. Finally it started to work on its Messages app by adding RCS and many new features.
There are plenty of alternative SMS apps available on the Google Play Store which are providing what Google's Messages app is missing. For example, SMS Organizer from Microsoft is one of the popular and most useful SMS apps but it is available in limited locations. OEMs also have their own SMS app with some added features.
And there are so many messengers like Whatsapp, Messenger, etc., are available which allows users to communicate freely at free of Cost over the internet.
So Google is adding so many useful features gradually to this app to make it as a top on the list. And now Jane Manchun Wong, a reverse engineer has found that Google is testing some new features on its Messages app for Android which allows users to sort their SMS quickly when searching.
